Episode 20: Grand Prix Final 2018 - Transcript

Evie: So in today's episode we're going to be talking about the 2018 Grand Prix Final. Yay!

Kat: Can't believe it's over!

Evie: It's crazy that it's already at an end.

Tilda: The series is over!

Kat: Yeah, it was amazing like after the last event ended it was just like "Wow... it's over."

Evie: The season is going way too fast.

Tilda: It feels like it's lasted a year or something.

Episode 19: Internationaux de France 2018 - Transcript

Kat: We never would have been able to tell that it was a hexagon, just because everyone was holding it.

Dani: Guys, real talk, do you think that they're going to run out of shapes at one point?

Kat: Who knows, maybe they'll just stick with this the whole time.

Dani: I'll say that 2019 will have squares or triangles.

Tilda: I do wonder if it's like building a brand as avant-garde, you know?

Episode 18: Rostelecom Cup 2018 - Transcript

Sam: Thankfully there is no “Edge of No Return,” so.

Kite: “Point of No Return…”

Sam: Yes, “Point of No Return!”

Kite: “Edge of No Return!”

Sam: Did I say “edge”? Excuse me! “Point of No Return!” It's only my favorite song in the whole musical, so of course I'm gonna screw it up!

Episode 17: NHK Trophy 2018 - Transcript

Evie: I think they're both looking really good, especially his Short Program with the bright yellow pants that he's sporting. (Lynn: Banana pants!) It's definitely a look-

Lynn: He pulls it off!

Evie: I kinda wish he would go full banana and go for a bright yellow top and lean into the disco!

Lynn: I'd be into that.

Evie: Bejewel the hell out of the pants, flared legs - I'd be down for that.

Lynn: Stephane is really having an impact on him.

Episode 16: GP Helsinki 2018 - Transcript

Evie: I love their rotational lift in the Free Dance-

Yogeeta: Oh my god, it's amazing

Evie: It's so good. You don't see many teams try and get that bullet point where the man has to be on one leg for some of the rotations for the levels, but you see Ivan in the last couple of rotations and they're spinning so fast, and then he sticks his leg up and looks at the judges - and it's just like, 'yeah look at me, I've got my leg up!' It's just-

Lae: Witness the leg!

Evie: 'Witness the leg,' there's your episode title!

Episode 15: Skate Canada 2018 - Transcript

Nina: Paul needs to keep his moustache shaved.

Kat: Oh god, yeah.

Kite: He kept it out for the Rhythm Dance and shaved it for the Free Dance, I didn’t even recognise him when he came out for Free Dance practice. I was like “Oh my god, that’s Paul.” He looked like 15 years younger than he did 24 hours ago, just because he shaved his moustache.

Kat: Please do not do that, Paul, if you’re listening. Please just get rid of the moustache.

Nina: Paul, more flower crowns, fewer moustaches.

Episode 14: Skate America 2018 - Transcript

Red: We don’t like to think about “Candyman.”

Sam: Yeah, no, we definitely don’t,

Yogeeta: Yeah let’s never watch that ever again.

Red: Let’s move on from “Candyman.”

Sam: Yeah, thankfully they have.
