  • There have been further updates to the assignments of the Grand Prix.

    • Alexey Erokhov (RUS) withdrew from Rostelecom Cup, and Andrei Lazukin (RUS) was assigned in his stead (source)

    • Nicole Schott (GER) withdrew from Rostelecom Cup (source)

    • Andrew Torgashev (USA) has withdrawn from the Junior Grand Prix Final. Stephen Gogolev (CAN) has been called up to compete (source)

    • Haven Denney/Brandon Frazier (USA) have withdrawn from Internationaux de France (source)

    • Chafik Besseghier (FRA) has withdrawn from Internationaux de France (source)

  • Chinese skater Li Zijun has retired from competitive figure skating at the age of 21. We'll miss her dearly, but we look forward to seeing what she does next! (source)

  • Cup of China has been confirmed as a Grand Prix Series event for the season 2019-20. (source)

  • Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron (FRA) have confirmed that they will compete at Internationaux de France next week in Grenoble, stating that Guillaume’s back injury, which caused them to withdraw from NHK Trophy, is healing well. (source)

  • Adam Rippon (USA) has announced his official retirement from competitive figure skating. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours! (source)

  • Retired skater Nobunari Oda (JPN) caught up with Yulia Lipnitskaya (RUS) and Elena Radionova (RUS) at the Rostelecom Cup!

  • Yuna Shiraiwa (JPN) started a crowdfunding campaign to finance her skating - and met her goal in less than two days! You can donate to the campaign here.

  • 13yr old Alysa Liu (USA) landed two 3As in her Free Skate at Pacific Coast Sectionals this weekend (source)
